Home - Degrees & Courses - Dual Admissions and Transferring Dual Admissions and Transferring The focus of freshman and sophomore years at any college or university is on completing general education requirements. These years are also an opportunity for students to explore many different subjects before deciding on a major, and it's a great way to save money. Lewis and Clark makes transferring to other institutions easy, as a participant of the Illinois Articulation Initiative, which guarantees general education credit at most Illinois colleges and universities. Further, Lewis and Clark has made agreements with a number of institutions like SIUC, SIUE and more to make sure students have a smooth transition after their years here. For those not wanting to leave town to continue their education, many colleges and universities also offer bachelor's and master's degrees right here on Lewis and Clark's campus. Transfer Days Two transfer days are scheduled annually - one in March and one in October. More than 30 college and university representatives meet with transfer students to discuss admission and financial aid information.
