Trailblazers’ Miriam Taylor is First-Team All-American
Selecting Lewis and Clark Community College’s Miriam Taylor to the NJCAA All-America Soccer Team was almost a foregone conclusion. After all, how could the nation’s leading scorer be left off?
It turns out she couldn’t be left off.
Taylor was tabbed as a first-team JUCO All-America selection late Thursday by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Taylor, who’s already committed to transfer to UMSL next season, led the nation with 37 goals and her 24 assists were second to L&C teammate Brooke Coakley’s 29.
