The women’s tennis team had a rough second day at the NJCAA National Championships. The Trailblazers lost six matches and dropped in the national ranking from 14th to 22nd overall.

In their respective main draw matches, #1 singles Mel Schlaeger, #2 singles Claire Morrissey (the #7 overall seed in her flight), and #5 singles Abby Mundel all lost their matches.  Likewise, in their consolation round matches, #3 singles Taylor Stevenson, #2 doubles Stevenson and Nikki Steiner, and #3 doubles Abby Mundel and Alex Dennis lost their matches.
