What happens after I complete and submit the forms?

After submitting the form, you should:

  1. Send L&C your official transcripts. Have all high school, pre-college, GED, and other college transcripts sent directly to the L&C Enrollment Center at 5800 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, Illinois 62035.  The name that you’re currently using should appear on each transcript.
  2. Take the College Placement Tests. If you’re a new student and pursuing a degree or certificate program or registering for a math or English course, you must complete the placement tests. Call the Assessment Center at 618-468-5221 or your local Community Education Center to make an appointment.
  3. Meet with an academic advisor. Immediately after completing the placement tests, meet with an advisor to develop an education plan and then register.  Registration becomes official when tuition and fees are paid.
  4. Enroll in LCCC 101. This free two-hour orientation workshop assists all new students with their transition to college. Your academic advisor will help you enroll in this workshop.
