Program Activities

Talent Search advisors generally see program participants twice a month.  Activities vary by school and grade, but may include:

• Career inventories and development
• Educational and personal development videos
• College Financial Aid information
• College Financial Aid preparation assistance
• Goal-setting activities
• Test taking and study skills
• College visits
• College orientation and research
• Scholarship searches
• Multi-media study skills
• Academic advising
• Cultural field trips and activities
• ACT/SAT preparation

Program Requirements

To participate in the program, students must:

• Complete an application with parent/guardian signature
• Maintain at least a “C” grade point average
• Attend Talent Search workshops regularly
• Display the ability to meet program standards.
