Teen Parent Services

To help teen parents (those 20 years old and younger at the time of referral) achieve their high school diploma or GED Certificate, L&C offers Teen Parent Services.

This state-funded program allows young parents to engage in 30 hours per week of education and related activities, and provides comprehensive and intensive case management that ensures the mental and physical development of their children as well.

Services are available to any pregnant or parenting teen who receives TANF financial assistance; who meets the age and educational criteria; and who receives any type of medical assistance, food stamps, family case management services, or WIC.
