The Youth Arts & Education division of Continuing Education offers opportunities for children of all ages to expand knowledge, develop skills, and pursue special interests in a fun, creative environment on the L&C campus and in surrounding communities.

Programs we offer include: 

College for Kids/Summer Camps 

Solve a mystery, explore the magical world of Harry Potter, dig up an ancient artifact or re-enact the Lewis & Clark expedition. Kids and families looking for educational enrichment activities during the summer months need look no further than L&C's summer College for Kids program. More than 90 classes and sports camps designed for pre-school through high school students are offered on the Godfrey campus, as well as in Alton, Edwardsville, Carlinville, Bethalto and other communities in the L&C district.

After School & Saturday Enrichment 

L&C offers enrichment classes for kids on Saturdays throughout the school year at the Godfrey Campus and N.O. Nelson Campus in Edwardsville. 

 Music Preparatory Program 

Whether you’re a beginner or a virtuoso, L&C’s music programs will help you develop your talent. 

Athletic Camps 

Ready to take your game to the next level? Summer athletic camps offer unique opportunities for student athletes to work on individual skills development and teamwork under the direction of NCJAA Division II coaches.

Kids Swim 

The Swim program at L&C offers Red Cross-approved swimming lessons and water safety instruction taught by certified instructors year-round for children ages 6 months and up.

Montessori 

The Montessori Children’s House at L&C provides on-campus, quality childcare for the children of enrolled students.
