Our program supplies the training to match your vivid imagination - to develop new ideas and forms of expression in the studio through graphic design, drawing, painting, two- and three-dimensional design, ceramics, printmaking and photography. Also, Web design and computer graphics may be taken through career programs.

Add courses in art history and appreciation plus general education and you’ll be ready to work in professional studios, design firms, printing companies and advertising and marketing agencies, or to pursue studies toward a four-year degree at a senior institution.

This degree is a general education degree with an Art emphasis.

Transfer Options

To transfer as a junior into a BFA program or a BA program with a major in Art, you should select either the AA or the AFA option in consultation with your art department advisor and the four-year institution.
