Illinois Grants
ISAC Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant
This state grant is based on need and provides for payment of tuition and mandatory fees only. To qualify, you must meet ISAC Illinois residency criteria. If Illinois is your legal residence, you will automatically apply for MAP when completing your FAFSA. To have your MAP award calculated, you must list a MAP eligible school as one of your six school choices on your FAFSA. ISAC determines specific award amounts.
ISAC Silas Purnell Illinois Incentive Access Grant
This is a state grant provided to college freshman (less than 28 credit hours attempted) students whose Expected Family Contribution is zero, who meet Illinois residency criteria, and who are enrolled at least part-time (six credit hours). This one-time, $500.00 award is disbursed in two installments of $250.00. Illinois residents automatically apply for this grants when completing the FAFSA.
