TRIO Student Support Services

The TRIO Student Support Services Program assists college students from disadvantaged backgrounds—especially low-income and first-generation students—who are identified as being academically under-prepared for college-level work.

Services include academic, career, and personal counseling, as well as guidance in financial aid and transfer requirements. The program also offers textbook and calculator loans, peer tutoring and cultural enrichment activities for all participants, plus accommodations for those with disabilities.
