Associate in Science

The Associate in Science degree is designed to complete the lower-division (freshman and sophomore) portion of a Bachelor of Science degree, and is ideal for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution after L&C.

The Associate in Science degree includes the transferable General Education Core Curriculum and the lower-division major field core courses recommended by the Illinois Articulation Initiative. This degree is ideally suited for students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in areas such as agriculture, business, education and many other fields.
