ST. LOUIS — It’s a whole new game for the L&C women’s basketball team.
While he’d rather be discussing another six-game winning streak, Trailblazers coach Jaron Young said his team’s 68-63 loss to St. Louis CC Sunday at Forest Park was part of a learning process.
And it’s a process he said his young team is handling.
L&C, which has a roster than includes 10 freshmen, was outscored by STLCC 21-11 in the fourth quarter Sunday and lost by five points in a game that saw the Trailblazers lead for 36 of the 40 minutes.
The first 36.
The loss broke a five-game winning streak the Trailblazers extended on Saturday with a home victory over the Illinois College junior varsity.
