MEDA-120 - Pathophysiology I

Provides a comprehensive study of the structure and function of major organs, related medical terminology, commonly prescribed medications, common diseases, and diagnostic testing associated with the systems. Students are introduced to terminology used in various medical specialties as well as common medical abbreviations and symbols. In addition, students are introduced to anatomy and physiology through the study of cell and tissue structure and function, the musculoskeletal system, the integumentary system, cardiovascular system, and the urinary system.
Prerequisite: None.
