Introduces theory, terminology and operating principles of electrical, heating and air conditioning systems. Stresses basic service and diagnosis of all three systems. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have the opportunity to attempt the Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning (MVAC) refrigerant recovery certification examination.
Prerequisite: C or better in AUTO 140 or concurrent enrollment.
