DENT-257 - Local Anesthesia in Dentistry

Provides instruction on pain management of the dental patient through the use of local anesthesia. Includes head and neck anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical emergencies, and the clinical technique.
Prerequisite: C or better in DENT 254 and permission of instructor.
(PCS 1.2, 2 credit hours: 1.5 lecture hours, 1.5 hours clinical)
