Providing post-secondary experiences for students with disabilities

L&C's College For Life (CFL) program is designed for students who have had few inclusive experiences in high school. The program provides non-credit courses designed to engage and entertain students while growing their self-advocacy skills and providing socialization in a post-secondary setting.

Students in the program have the opportunity for full inclusion on campus, with access to the library, dining services, computer labs, etc., as well as student events and activities.

Classes meet twice per week, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday at one of two locations:

  • Godfrey: 5800 Godfrey Rd., Godfrey, IL 62035
  • N.O. Nelson: 600 Troy Rd., Edwardsville, IL 62025

Virtual classes are available for some course options.

Three Easy Steps to Enroll

  1. Submit the online application to Lewis and Clark Community College.
  2. Contact previous learning institutions to request an official copy of your transcripts be sent to L&C.
  3. Submit your documentation via email to access@lc.edu.

Once the above steps have been completed, we will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Questions? Contact the Center for Access and Accommodations at (618) 468-4121 or access@lc.edu.
