The Human Services program at L&C prepares students to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, cope with difficult situations, and improve their quality of life. This program is ideal for students who want to enter the workforce, those already working in human services who wish to expand their skills, or students planning to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue degrees in social work, psychology, human services, or sociology.
Students in this program will learn how to support people as they go through life changes, such as aging, illness, or trauma. The curriculum focuses on understanding the diverse needs of those seeking help while also exploring how people grow and change throughout their lives.
