Lifelong Learning for Everyone

Non-credit education includes any offering Lewis and Clark Community College has that does not offer college credit.

These courses don't go on your transcript, but they're designed to encourage lifelong learning and enrichment, from childhood all the way into retirement.

Non-credit courses are typically much cheaper than our credit offerings, and usually are short term. They can be taken just for fun, or to see if you like them enough to switch over to the credit/career track.

Workforce Education, Safety Training and Other Professional Development

Unlike some of our other non-credit programs, workforce and safety training offerings often include professional certifications to add to your resume, though they typically do not count for college credit. Please check with our Center for Workforce Partnership and Innovation at (618) 468-5787 to learn more about these offerings and whether they might be a good fit for you.
