As a member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO,) Lewis & Clark Community College has adopted the following principles of professional ethics and practice in academic and enrollment services to conduct themselves with integrity, fairness, honesty, and respect for others; to avoid conflicts between personal interests and professional responsibilities; and resolve perceived conflicts through full disclosure and independent review; and to dispense complete, accurate, understandable, and truthful information and advice at all times. In concurrence with these principles, the institution refrains from high-pressure recruitment tactics such as excessive contacts by phone, text, email and in-person or engaging in fast-paced recruitment and registration strategies for the purpose of guaranteeing veteran and service member enrollments.
In addition, Lewis & Clark Community College will not provide any commission, bonus, or other incentive payment based in any part, directly or indirectly, upon success in securing enrollments or the award of financial aid to any person or entity who is engaged in any student recruitment or admission activity, or in making decisions regarding the award of title IV, HEA program funds.
