L&C's Dual Admissions program is designed to make your transfer from Lewis and Clark to participating four-year colleges and universities as simple as possible, by guaranteeing your acceptance as a transfer student. Unlike our transfer agreements (where you're an L&C student for two years, then transfer), your admission to both institutions can start the moment you enroll at L&C.
Students who fulfill the requirements of their intended school's dual admission agreement are guaranteed acceptance into their college/university with full junior status, though individual program acceptance may vary.
Why Should I Seek Dual Admission?
Benefits include:
- Guaranteed acceptance to a four-year college or university
- Access to academic advising at both institutions
- Students completing their Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degrees will be placed at junior status at the four-year college/university and all general education requirements will be met.
- Students can take advantage of tuition savings at the community college level for the first two years of general education.
- Access to degree audit systems at both institutions.
- Additional benefits may be available but vary by participating schools.
