The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to provide research, data, and analysis in support of institutional effectiveness.
Three general functions comprise the mission:
- To work collaboratively with faculty and administrators in identifying data needs.
- To investigate factors related to student success using a methodological framework. (Findings of these investigations may later be applied as actionable research through policy and pedagogical changes.)
- To oversee data requests from external agencies with the support of the Institutional Computing department.
