The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to provide research, data, and analysis in support of institutional effectiveness.

Three general functions comprise the mission:

  1. To work collaboratively with faculty and administrators in identifying data needs.
  2. To investigate factors related to student success using a methodological framework. (Findings of these investigations may later be applied as actionable research through policy and pedagogical changes.)
  3. To oversee data requests from external agencies with the support of the Institutional Computing department.
