These two programs are an essential part of the petroleum refinery & chemical industries in which we are trained as operators and technicians.
We are here to create interest in our field, promote students in the workforce, instill a sense of pride in the quality of our work, and remember safety is #1 in our industry.
Our club is open to all students, former students, faculty, staff, industry personnel, and companies interested in hiring our students.
Activities and Events
We participate in several activities, including fundraisers to benefit local community charities, tours of area industries and career preparation, including guest speakers and one-on-one resume/interview assistance.
The PTECH/ICS Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at N.O. Nelson N7 101 at 4:50 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. Club news, updates, events and monthly meeting minutes are available through a weekly newsletter.
