Hatheway Cultural Center Gallery
The L&C Art Department is proud to present the 21st Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, April 10-25, 2026, in the Hatheway Cultural Center Gallery. All art students are encouraged to submit artwork for review. Accepted pieces could be available for sale.
An opening reception will take place from 4-6 p.m., April 10, 2026. Join us in celebration of our student artists. Awards will be announced during this event.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

- March 26 - All entries must be submitted to the listed locations (See entry form) by 3 p.m.

March 30 - Accepted works list posted in Wade and Trimpe.

April 2 - All accepted Artwork must be delivered to Hatheway Gallery by 4 p.m. No Exceptions
- April 10 – Opening Reception, 4 – 6 p.m..
- April 27, 28– All work displayed during the exhibit must be picked up between 2 and 4 p.m. Work not picked up by these times will be subject to disposal.
Call for Entries
- Up to $600 in cash prizes and awards will be presented to art students at the opening reception on Friday, April 10.
- $250 - 1st Place Purchase Award
- $125 - 2nd Place Cash Award
- $75 - 3rd Place Cash Award
- Three Honorable Mention Awards - $50 Gift Cards for Art Materials from Dick Blick, Inc.
Deadline to submit entries: Thursday, March 26th, by 3 p.m. 2D work must be matted with matte board and framed for jury process (see rules of entry below). Bring work to be juried, with two attached entry forms for each piece submitted, to these locations:
- Basic Design I & II: Wade 3106
- Paintings: Wade 3105
- Drawings: Wade 3103
- 3-D sculptures: Wade 3106
- Ceramics: Wade 3106
- Graphic/Web Design: contact your instructor for details
- 2D work must be framed with wire attached. Do not use tape. Leave a 2” space from the wire to the top of the frame. NO saw-tooth hangers, D-rings, keyhole mounts or tacks.
- All paintings must be completely dry for exhibition.
- Wall-hung 3D art must be installation-ready with attached wire, & mounts.
- All other 3D art must be stable and pedestal-ready.
- No ceiling displayed works.
- No installation works.
- All accepted artwork must be delivered to Hatheway Gallery no later than 4 p.m. on April 2.
- Affix two copies of the entry form.
- We do not exhibit works that don’t meet these requirements.
- Students must pick up artwork on April 29 or 30 between 2 and 4 p.m.
- Carefully consider the presentation of your work. Consult your instructor(s) for help.
Sales will be encouraged, so students should carefully consider artwork prices. Please include an insurance value for your artwork.
