Winifred Godfrey: 40 Years of Painting
Hatheway Cultural Center Gallery
Sept. 15-Oct. 15, 2013
The exhibit was a retrospective show of Winfred Godfrey’s art, which graces the Lewis and Clark Godfrey campus in both the Templin Nursing Building and the Trimpe Advanced Technology Center. This retrospective provided the residents of the region and art patrons the opportunity to see more than 100 pieces of her extensive work spanning four decades. It was the first time a display of Winifred’s work of this scope and size had ever been exhibited in the United States.
This art curation was part of the cultural programming of Lewis and Clark Community College, funded in part by the Lewis and Clark Community College Foundation Hatheway Olin Endowment.
A public opening for the exhibit took place from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15. The exhibit was open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Saturday, Oct. 12. On Oct. 12, a closing reception was held from 3-6 p.m.
