The Climate Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program

The Climate Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program is a FREE training program designed to prepare people to enter an apprenticeship program and build a career in construction, the building trades and clean energy.

Eligibility

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Reside in an equity investment-eligible community, be formerly incarcerated, or be a current or former graduate of the foster care system.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED/HI SET or be in a program to get one.
  • Have an interest in a career in construction, building trades and clean energy.

Support Services

Support services, based on participant need, may include:

  • Childcare/family care
  • Transportation assistance
  • Driver education fees
  • Math and reading tutoring
  • Housing assistance
  • Mental health counseling

Stipend

Receive $13/hour for your participation in the training program.

  • Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3)
