The Climate Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program is a FREE training program designed to prepare people to enter an apprenticeship program and build a career in construction, the building trades and clean energy.
Eligibility
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Reside in an equity investment-eligible community, be formerly incarcerated, or be a current or former graduate of the foster care system.
- Have a high school diploma or GED/HI SET or be in a program to get one.
- Have an interest in a career in construction, building trades and clean energy.
Support Services
Support services, based on participant need, may include:
- Childcare/family care
- Transportation assistance
- Driver education fees
- Math and reading tutoring
- Housing assistance
- Mental health counseling
Stipend
Receive $13/hour for your participation in the training program.
