Photo Exhibition

The original exhibit was curated and brought to life by partners from Lewis and Clark Community College and Hayner Public Library District in Fall 2023 using photographs obtained from the Wisconsin Veterans Museum.

Campus and community visitors alike enjoyed a visual journey through time, seeing the American Civil Rights Movement and Vietnam War through photographer Robert J. Ellison’s eyes. The college also held a commemoration event to celebrate the life of Ellison, a Western Military Academy graduate and son of a Monitcello alumnae.
