LC Nursing Students Hope to Create Lasting Change through Generous DonationsIn a spirited show of generosity and teamwork, L&C Nursing students recently raised an impressive $994 in a “Change War” fundraiser for Oasis Women’s Shelter in Alton. The students chose the shelter due to a personal connection with its mission and services.

Organized as a friendly competition, each semester battled to out-raise the other, with leaders updating the board weekly to keep the momentum high. The event quickly became one of the most successful drives to date, combining fun, rivalry, and heartfelt purpose.

“This was one of the best drives we’ve ever had,” Nursing professor Rodney White said. “The students’ enthusiasm and connection to the cause really made it special.”
